  • Choking electric drive

Common description

Electrical equipment control package of the choking electric drive

Traditionally, the limitation of the starter currents with the phase-wound rotor motors is made by the getting starting resistors into the rotor circuits.

The material weaknesses of such a method is that for starting and restraining of the motor the switchgear which sophisticates the electric drive diagram and needs the service is necessary. The simplification of the control circuit is possible if the chocks in rotor circuit of the induction motors are used.
